 According to the Hindu calendar Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is celebrated on a full moon day in the month of August which is known as Shravan Purnima.

What is the importance of Rakhsha Bandhan ?

Rakhi is the occasion ,which shows the bond of affection  between brothers and sisters . It is  a festival of love and faith between siblings.Now-a-days people from different faiths celebrate this  too. On this special day, Sisters mark tilak with Roli on forehead of their brothers and tie a sacred thread(Moli) or a colourful special band, rightly called the 'Rakhi' on their brothers' wrist as a mark of affection, sisterly love, and sublime sentiments and offer sweets. In return their brothers promise their sisters to protect and hug them by offering some gifts.An aarey of dishes are prepared like Laddoos,Kheer,Halwa etc.on this festival.

As per the mythologies, on this day, Draupadi had tied Krishna’s wounded hand with a piece of her Saree . Being grateful, he made a promise to Draupadi that he will protect her. Therfore Krishna came to the rescue of Draupadi during Cheer-Haran by Dushasana to fulfil his promise.

There is another legend in history of the Queen of  Chittor, Karmavati. She had sent Rakhi to the Mughal Emperor Humayun in order to seek help from him. Humayun kept the respect of her Rakhi and sent forces to fight for the respect of his sister from the Emperor of Gujarat.

देवशयनी एकादशी 2020 

देवशयनी एकादशी का महत्व अपने आप में ही बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है क्योकि इस दिन भगवान् विष्णु चार महीनो के लिए पाताल लोक में निवास के लिए चले जाते है।देवशयनी एकादशी की तिथि से ही चतुर्मास

की शुरुआत मानी जाती है। पंचांग के हिसाब से इस बार यह व्रत 1 जुलाई 2020 को  है जिसे हरिसैनी एकादशी भी कहा जाता है। 

 

देवशयनी एकादशी व्रत की महत्ता 

कई पौराणिक कथाओ और मान्यताओं के अनुसार एकादशी व्रत को रखने मात्र से ही व्यक्ति विशेष को विभिन्न प्रकार का पुण्य प्राप्त हो जाता है और केवल इसी व्रत से वह अपनी  सभी समस्याओ से निदान पा लेता है। 

एकादशी के दिन  व्रत रखने से कई प्रकार के रोगो से भी मुक्ति मिल जाती है।भगवान  विष्णु और पीपल के वृक्ष की पूजा करने से पहले दाएँ हाथ  में जल लेकर संकल्प लेना चाहिए व् विधिपूर्वक एकादशी का व्रत करना चाहिए।माना जाता है कि इस प्रकार व्यक्ति अपनी सभी चिंताओं से भी मुक्ति पा लेता है। 

भगवान विष्णु के पाताल लोक में  जाने के बाद चार महीनो तक कोई भी धार्मिक कार्य जैसे विवाह मुहूर्त व् अन्य कार्य  नहीं किये जाते ,अन्यथा धार्मिक कार्यो का कोई विशेष महत्व नहीं रह जाता और न ही कोई उचित परिणाम मिलते  है।

Nirjala Ekadashi is a Hindu holy day falling on the 11th lunar day (Ekadashi) in the Hindu month of Jyestha May or June. This ekadashi derives its name from the water-less (Nir-jala) fast observed on this day.It last for 24 hours from the day it starts.Among all ekadashies it is the most important and fruitful.

IMORTANCE OF NIRJALA EKADASHI
The Nirjala Ekadashi is one of the most rewarding festival of the Hindus. Nirjala Ekadashi is highly pious and grants prosperity, longevity and salvation. The importance of Nirjala Ekadashi was explained by the great saint ‘Vyas’. It is believed that Nirjala Ekadashi vrat offer the combined virtues of the other ekadashis to its observer. For this reason devotees who cannot observe all the remaining 23 ekadashis of the Hindu year, should keep the Nirjala Ekadashi fast to get all the benefits together. It is more sacred than visiting Hindu pilgrimage places. Nirjala Ekadashi occurs before monsoons and therefore assists in purifying the body. It is also a popular belief that the observer of the Nirjala Ekadashi vrat, after death, is straight away taken to ‘Vaikunta’, which is the abode of Lord Vishnu.


WHAT SHOULD DO ON THIS DAY
 On the Nirjala Ekadashi day, Lord Vishnu is worshipped with full dedication. Devotees offer Tulsi leaves, flower, fruits and nariyals to their lord. The idol of Lord Vishnu is beautifully adorned and worshipped in the evening with dhoop and other things like sabudan kheer etc. The observer of the Nirjala Ekadashi vrat should stay awake all night and therefore they visit Lord Vishnu temples to participate in the bhajans and kirtans, organized for this occasion.

After 24 hours the person who keep fast can open his/her fast.
lord Vishnu fulfil the required need of the person and give his blessings.

KABIRDAS(कबीरदास )

संत कबीरदास  का जन्म 15 वी  शताब्दी में  हुआ था। 5 जून 

का दिन कबीर दस जयंती के रूप में मनाया जाता है। वे एक 

रह्स्य्वादी कवि थे. कबीर के जन्म से जुड़े कई तथ्य है अथवा 

इनके जन्म को  लेकर कई प्रकार के विवाद है क्योकि इनके 

जन्म का कोई भी समय,तिथि,व स्थान  निश्चित नहीं है।फिर  भी

 ये माना जाता  कि इनका जन्म रामतारा नामक  तालाब 

(काशी ) या उसके आसपास हुआ था। 

कबीरदास जी  का जीवन परिचय 

कबीरदास जी  का लालन पालन एक मुस्लिम परिवार में हुआ। उनकी माता का नाम नीमा  व पिता का नाम

नीरू था जो कि उनके वास्तविक माता पिता नहीं थे। उनके पिता एक जुलाहा थे अतः उन्होंने कई कठिनाईयों

के साथ उनका भरण पोषण किया। कबीरदास  जी का विवाह लोई नामक स्त्री से हुआ जिनसे उनकी दो संताने

हुई। उनके पुत्र का नाम कमाल व उनकी पुत्री का नाम कमाली था। 

 कबीरदास जी का मानना था हमारे कर्म ही ये निश्चित करते है  कि हम क्या भोगने आये है, अर्थात हमें हमेशा

अच्छे कर्म करने चाहिए जिसका वर्णन उन्होंने अपने दोहो द्वारा किया  है. उनकी कर्मभूमि काशी और बनारस

थे। उन्होंने आचार्य रामानंद जी से शिक्षा दीक्षा ग्रहण की और उन्होंने भी  कबीरजी को अपना चेला बना लिए।

कबीरदास जी अत्यंत उच्च विचारो वाले संत थे।वे किसी से कोई भेदभाव  नहीं  रखते थे चाहे कोई हिन्दू हो या

मुस्लिम। कबीरदास जी की मृत्यु मगहर में   संवत 1551 में हुई।
